L’exposition collective à partir de là fait se rencontrer les œuvres de 21 jeunes artistes. Que se passe-t-il à partir de là ?
Grâce aux différents parcours qui traversent le Centre d’art contemporain Chanot, l’exposition invite à prêter attention autrement aux multiples résonances et liens qui se nouent puis se dénouent entre les œuvres, les artistes, les publics et les commissaires.
Composé des étudiantes et étudiants du master 2 professionnel « L’art contemporain et son exposition » de Sorbonne Université, le collectif à autre voix a rencontré des artistes des Beaux-Arts de Paris et de l’École des Arts Décoratifs. Réunissant leurs pratiques diverses – installation, performance, sculpture, peinture, dessin, vidéo –, l’exposition à partir de là s’attache aux écarts et multiples résonances des œuvres entre elles. Les cohabitations, les amitiés, les ateliers partagés et les influences communes tissent ensemble certains gestes, certaines matières, certaines manières d’être et de faire.
Ces liens sont le point de départ d’une exploration curatoriale et collective où d’autres liaisons que des rapports thématiques sont en jeu. Elles expérimentent la complexité des relations entre les œuvres et prennent forme dans l’écriture. À l’image du langage et du rythme diachronique des phrases, elles échafaudent des liens singuliers et pluriels entre les œuvres, un détail succédant à un autre comme un mot après l’autre. En résultent plusieurs parcours qui s’offrent aux visiteuses et aux visiteurs comme des invitations à percevoir des variations, à s’aventurer dans des déambulations distinctes et des rencontres plurielles.
à partir de là est un point de départ : une sortie d’école, une amitié naissante, une proposition, le début d’un texte, l’entrée d’une exposition.

Biographie du collectif à autre voix
Née d’une initiative étudiante, dans le cadre du master 2 professionnel « L’Art contemporain et son exposition » de Sorbonne Université l’association à autre voix rassemble onze jeunes commissaires d’exposition mus par le désir d’exposer et de soutenir la jeune création. Issus de parcours différents – création plastique, histoire de l’art, littérature, marché de l’art –, nous cherchons à inventer une voix en partage entre les œuvres et les spectateurs : hésitante, multiple, créative. Le collectif à autre voix souhaite s’inscrire dans une voie plurielle et libre qui soit toujours ouverte.

BIOGRAPHY OF MATHILDE ALBOUY
Mathilde Albouy (b. 1997) is a French artist living and working in Paris. She graduated from the Haute École des Arts du Rhin and has been studying in the Art-Space sector of ENSAD since 2018.
BIOGRAPHY OF MAXIME BAGNI
Maxime Bagni (b. 1997) is a visual artist studying at ENSAD. He conceives installation as the setting up of a foundation whose appearance comes into contact with the anodyne in the search for a displacement. His works resonate with contexts linked to exhibition sites. The search for form intervenes in the choice of exhibiting in atypical formats and places : Boîte n°31, a gallery-bookshop, Quai de Conti, Paris ; the French Pavilion of the Suncheon Bay Garden, Suncheon, South Korea ; the Chapelle du Saint-Esprit, a secular historical monument, Auray, Morbihan ; Atelierhaus, Prenzlauer Promenade, a series of buildings with administrative functions during the Cold War, Berlin, etc.

Lucas Durendeau (b. 1995) lives and works in Paris. He is a student artist in his 5th year at ENSAD in Paris, Art-Space sector. After having started a university course in genetics, he reoriented himself towards art studies. Mixing drawing, sculpture and performance, his practice deploys an interest for the exhibition as a place of sharing and a space to make in collective. He is a member of the Soleil Gras collective.
BIOGRAPHY OF CHARLINE GDALIA
Charline Gdalia (b. 1998) is a visual artist whose practice develops through video installation. She entered the ENSBA in 2016 in the P2F workshop (Bernard Piffaretti, Sylvie Fanchon, Dominique Figarella) and then studied with Dominique Figarella. After spending a year in Dresden in Carsten Nicolai’s studio, she returns to Paris, where she also develops projects as a curator.

Nora Guislain (b. 1996) lives and works in Paris. She has a degree in philosophy from Sorbonne University and a DNA from the Villa Arson. Since 2021, she has been studying at the ENSBA in the studio of Dominique Figarella.

Maya Harel (b. 1998, Tel-Aviv) lives and works in Paris. After volunteering with refugees in Israel, she moved to Paris in 2018 and joined Dominique Figarella’s studio at ENSBA. In addition to drawing, painting, ceramics and mosaics, she masters glass thanks to training in a workshop in Berlin.

Yufei He lives and works in Paris. Student artist at ENSAD (Art-Space sector) since 2018, her training takes place between China and France. She is interested in installation, sculpture and performance.

Maya Kafian (b. 1999) is a visual artist. She has a double degree from ENSBA and ENSAD, and will graduate from the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2021. As a student in the studio of Dominique Figarella and Julien Prévieux, she works with video and sculpture, which come together in installation and performance.
BIOGRAPHY OF ROMAIN LANDI
Romain Landi (b. 1995) is a visual artist living and working in Paris. With a scientific background in mechanical engineering, design and ergonomics, he received his DNA from ENSA Bourges in 2020 before entering ENSBA the following year. Through gestures of arrangement, real or virtual, he unfolds objects to understand how they architect our domestic, psychic and emotional space.

Noé Leleu (b. 1997) lives and works between Paris and Leipzig. Transnational Farmgirl, Noé is a young artist active in the fields of performance, fiber arts, photography and sculpture. Student artist at ENSAD in the Art-Space sector.

Lena Long (b. 1997) lives and works in Paris. After three years of study at the Beaux-Arts de Lyon (2015–2018), Lena Long was the assistant of the painter Apolonia Sokol (2018–2019), then continued her studies at ENSAPC (2020–2021) and at ENSBA in the studio of Dominique Figarella.

Raphaël Massart (b. 1997) lives and works in Paris. He graduated with a double degree in Sciences and Arts from the University of Paris 6 UPMC and Sorbonne University. He entered the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle in 2018 and the ENSBA in 2020, in the studio of Dominique Figarella.

Loïc Morel-Derocle (b. 1998) was born in Lilas (93) and grew up in Noisy-le-Grand. After high school, he attended a preparatory class and entered the ENSBA. He is a member of the Dominique Figarella workshop.
BIOGRAPHY OF ELISE NGUYEN QUOC
Elise Nguyen Quoc (b. 1994) is a painter and designer. After a Bachelor’s degree in graphic and motion design, she enters the Beaux-Arts de Nice, the Villa Arson, where she spends three years during which she begins painting. In 2021, she enters the ENSBA in the studio of Dominique Figarella and obtains the Thaddaeus Ropac Prize. For her international exchange, she studied printing techniques at the University of the Arts in Kyoto, Japan.

Filip Pietuch (b. 1997, Krakow) lives and works in Paris. Artist trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, then at ENSAD in the Art-Space sector since 2018.

Wesley Roque (b. 1995, Brazil) moved to Paris in 2016, thanks to a grant from the Hermès Foundation. In 2017, he obtained a degree in visual arts at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne before studying at ENSAD in the Art Espace sector.

BIOGRAPHY OF PIERRE-ALEXANDRE SAVRIACOUTY
Pierre-Alexandre Savriacouty (b. 1993) is a Franco[1] Malagasy artist. A graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Montpellier where he worked for the director Rodrigo Garcia, he joined the ENSBA in 2018. He is interested in the technical and spiritual dimension of the human being and his ability to create worlds and materials that did not exist. He envisions his work as a way to communicate between these worlds whose pieces can become immaterial portals between beings.

Christophe Tabet (b. 1995) grew up between France and Lebanon. In 2017, he entered ENSAD from which he graduated in 2022. Since 2020, he has focused his work on the modern history of Lebanon.

Alejandro Villabona (b. 1998, Pereira, Colombia) lives and works in Paris where he moved in 2016. He joined the P2F workshop (Sylvie Fanchon, Bernard Piffaretti, Dominique Figarella) at ENSBA the following year and then joined Dominique Figarella’s workshop.

Elise Nguyen Quoc (n. 1994) est artiste peintre et dessinatrice. Après un Bachelor en graphisme et motion design, elle entre aux Beaux-Arts de Nice, la Villa Arson, où elle passe trois années au cours desquelles elle débute la peinture. En 2021, elle intègre les Beaux-Arts de Paris dans l’atelier de Dominique Figarella et obtient le Prix Thaddaeus Ropac. Pour son échange international, elle étudie les techniques d’impressions à l’Université des Arts de la ville de Kyoto, Japon.

Pierre-Alexandre Savriacouty (n. 1993) est un artiste franco-malgache. Diplômé des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier où il a notamment travaillé pour le metteur en scène Rodrigo Garcia, il intègre les Beaux-Arts de Paris en 2018. Il est intéressé par la dimension technique et spirituelle de l’Humain et sa capacité à créer des mondes et des matières qui n’existaient pas. Il envisage son travail comme un moyen de communiquer entre ces mondes dont les pièces peuvent devenir des portails immatériels entre les êtres.

Christophe Tabet (n. 1995) a grandi entre la France et le Liban. En 2017, il intègre l’EnsAD dans le secteur Art-Espace dont il sort diplômé en 2022. Depuis 2020, il oriente son travail sur l’histoire moderne du Liban.
